Children's Art Contest

3K-12 th Grade

Size: Entries will be no larger than 18" x 24" including mat.

Material: Any work that can be wall-hung in all media is acceptable.  Each work should be matted or mounted on poster board or the equivalent in weight, cut to fit and required size.

Judging: A qualified judge will judge the work.

Labeling: A plain white index card containing the student's name, title of the work, school, grade, and phone number should be placed in an envelope. The envelope should be attached to the back lower right-hand corner of the entry. The outside of the envelope should contain the title of the work and the student's grade.

Deadline: Each school representative must deliver the winning school entries to the Cleveland Branch of the Bolivar County Library by Wednesday, April 9th. All Works should be submitted by a School, Daycare Center, Mom’s Morning Out Program, Home School Association, or other learning group. Winners from each individual school contest are to be submitted of no more than one winner per grade per category.

Note: You may not require matting for your school contest and only require the winners' work matted. This decision is left to each school.
